All of the still life projects to date were recorded in Berlin. The productions have been such that we meet with plane tickets, a few general ideas and a rented apartment (thank you to all of our wonderful temporary landlords!). We have been fortunate that once we set up our equipment and start, the music generally shows us the direction in which we should go. During these times we have been able to isolate ourselves from daily responsibility enough that we are free to lose ourselves in a place of creativity. Berlin is very conducive to that space and has played a significant role in our process.
